LOCATION - Its very close to the beach, and a few mins walk to the local shops and restaurants.
HOTEL - Looks beautiful, amazing interior design. Everything is clean and tidy. The gym is really small and a bit outdated but it has everything you need for a good workout.
RESTAURANT - Food is great, tasty and portions are good. A bit pricey if you're not on full board.
STAFF - Staff is beyond amazing, really friendly and helpful. Excursion guides try hard to make everything as best as they can for your enjoyment. Waiters and hotel staff are polite, friendly, always smiling and make you feel really welcomed.
Great hotel, great people, amazing stay! We are definitely coming there again :)

The staff were lovely, warm and hospitable. They made the stay very comfortable. The hotel is as you see it in the photos and very clean.
The island is really nice and has some beautiful beaches. There is some construction going on and some areas have rubbish etc but beyond that we loved it here. I have posted some of the photos we took and they are as we saw in real life, no filters! The locals are so friendly and we had some great conversations. 2 mosques on the island and a 3rd being built. Overall a lovely stay and we definitely plan to visit again.

Akiri was the best success of the Maldives. They welcomed us wonderfully and were concerned about helping us at all times. The hotel has a lot of charm and the rooms are super curious. Breakfast is great too. I definitely recommend it to you.

Always reachable, very good communication and if she is not around you can always contact her via WhatsApp.

I stayed 5 nights and would come back.
The hotel is located directly in the small town, 5 min walk to the closest restaurant, grocery shops around.
2 min walk to the harbor (good for diving 😉)
50-60min walk to the end of the island (sand banks).
If you're lazy you can hire bikes, scooter or "taxi" transfer.
The room was very comfy and I was sleeping very well in the bed. Aircon works fine. Fridge also.
The bathroom is big enough for me, like in whole asia, you don't have space to put things and the bathroom is flooded after shower. But the room overs lot of options to store your stuff. Very hot shower.
In general I think the room was a very good price value in comparison to other hotels on the island and especially in comparison to the privat resorts around the islands.
All stuff was very friendly and helpful.
Even though there are mosquitos on the island, I never had a single one in my room 😀
