Lovely place in idyllic setting. Staff were so kind and accommodating. Breakfast and evening meal were both delicious. Swimming pool was very inviting and we saw monkeys whilst in the garden.

Lara’s place is a perfect place for a beach getaway and we felt really good and welcomed here. The owners were super nice, we got a huge breakfast every morning with freshly squeezed juices, enjoyed on a terrace with sea view. The rooms are cozy, they have both a fan and AC, bathroom has free toiletries and we got free water refills.
They helped us a lot on our last day with a late check-out; we could leave our bags while we went to the beach and they even let us shower when coming back. Such sweethearts.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. The room is decorated with impeccable taste, it’s spotless, spacious, beautiful, and has everything you need and more. I also love the location — it couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Unawatuna, yet it feels completely secluded thanks to the jungle area with plenty of monkeys and a lake, giving you a true sense of disconnect.
I really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the beach towels, hats, and beach bags they provide. They really pay attention to every little detail. I would absolutely stay here again without any hesitation, and I will if I return to Unawatuna. Out of all the places we saw in the area, this was by far the best one, hands down.

It was a very pleasant stay. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Their hospitality is a great benifit. It was clean enough and worth the money. Different fruit for breakfast every day. Also eggs, bread, butter, hoppers were offered. Unawatuna main beach and main street with restaurants and shops are very close and it is enough quiet though.

We loved this hotel, the place is an absolute oasis! Our rooms were incredible, very large with plenty of closet space and a breathtaking bathroom. The ground were very well maintained and stunning. It was such relaxing environment that it was hard to leave the hotel to do other activities. The staff were very friendly and attentive and made everything easy and effortless.

We loved our stay in Abundia Unawatuna. The owner and his family are very friendly and welcoming. They even got us a upgrade for free and fulfilled every wish. Really one of the nicest people we met during our travels. The breakfast is very big and super delicious. They also organized some surf lessons, which we really liked for a good price. The room was very spacious and clean. They also let us stay at the pool after check-out and brought us a nice banana milkshake before our long flight. They genuially care and try everything to make sure that you have a good time in Unawatuna.
