Very friendly host who is always ready to help. The place is quiet. To the ocean 7 minutes, to market (Cargill's) about 12 minutes, bus stop and ATMs 3 minutes walk, restaurants and cafes from 5 minutes. There is parking. Very tasty and hearty breakfasts. The room is clean and comfortable. The air conditioning and fan work great. The room has a small refrigerator, a table, 3 chairs, 5 sockets. The table is perfect for work. The shared kitchen is always clean and very well equipped, with 2 burners. There is a generator, during the outage there was light.

This was by far our favorite hotel experience ever. We travel a lot and love to stay in special places and Three Gables was perfect from every point of view possible. We found this place through a friend who saw we were traveling through Sri Lanka and reached out to make sure we would stay here before we left: it’s that memorable of a place that our friend really wanted to make sure we stay here. He was so right! The location was stunning; the hotel is on the beach, and we could see sunrise and sunset and have beautiful walks. The room was perfect, it had all the comforts we could wish for. The food was the best we had in Sri Lanka by far and there was so much attention to detail. The best part of the hotel, and which made all the difference, was the impeccable service. If I could give this hotel 6 out of 5 stars in service, it would still be an understatement. Dinuka, our food & beverage manager, took excellent care of us and was always reachable. Suresh, the general manager, ensured we had a beautiful stay. Chef Nalaka, who created most of the fantastic food and was with whom we did a cooking class, was incredible. Chaturanga and the rest of the staff were always attentive and cared for us.

Everything is amazing - the room, the view, the owners, the breakfast. We couldn't be more happier with our choice. The place is 7,8 min walking to the beach, it is super quiet, just the jungle buzz around, the third floor is open space that could be used for morning yoga. Dreaming to come back some day..

Has everything that you could ask for; close to the beach and main restaurants, exceptionally clean, and you can tell that the details in the room were well thought out to make sure that things were as convenient as possible. It’s also owned and operated by the most wonderful family. The host is always very helpful and welcoming and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I recommend maduranga n guest to anyone and everyone traveling to Mirissa.

The place is absolutely wonderful. With a bit of luck you can even see some animals in the water or trees nearby and some fireflies at night make the place magical. There is a free tuktuk service to the main road until 7pm which is very helpful and walking takes about 15-20 minutes (quite a pretty walk). The staff is the sweetest, bringing you a welcoming drink on your arrival, carrying your suitcases and always making sure you have what you need. They also provided some recommendations about Mirissa. Overall a great place to relax since you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere.

Everything! The host Prasad is very informative and kind, explained everything and gave tips on what to see and where to go around Mirissa, Unawatuna and Galle. On arrival we had a welcome drink and a cold towel, much appreciated. The house and the room are spotless clean! The breakfast is huge and delicious and the best that we had in Sri Lanka. Thanks a lot and all the best!!
