Wow, just wow! Villa Solta was absolutely amazing. The Villa is run by a traditional old Croatian couple and there daughter. They were so kind and extremely accommodating. They were happy to make us exceptional local food from fresh produce and bring us beers at the pool. They even offered to wash some clothes for me. Speaking of, the pool was amazing!! The Villa was just up the hill from the village of Rogač, walking distance from some beaches and a few restaurants. Rogač is tiny and there was only a few places to eat but that is what made it perfect for us. Very quiet. perfect place to relax. We will definitely return to Solta and to Villa Solta. We will also be recommending this place to all our friends.

Beautiful traditional house with all modern facilities on the inside. The kitchen was spacious and well appointed, bedrooms were modern and very comfortable, all very clean and in perfect condition. I particularly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the waterfront location. There was a pool as well and quite a large garden with direct seaview. It's a great place for holidays, I would come back anytime.

The accommodation was absolutely fabulous, very comfortable, well located and it had spectacular views over the bay. The pool and the barbecue area in the backyard must be great in summer. Will be back for sure.

We were 5 persons that stayed for one week in this perfect house that has it all. The house is located 10 minutes walk from the Rogac harbour with a beautiful view of the ocean. Before our trip it was easy to establish contact with the owners of the house and they were fast in responding to any questions that we had. When we arrived we got a warm welcome by the owners, Daniel and Patricia, at the harbour and they helped us with our bagage to the house. The hospitality from the owners have been very high and suggestion on places to visit, restaurants to eat etc has been superb! The house has everything you need (two complete new kitchens, one at each floor and 3 toilets); a large terrace (excellent for breakfasts and dinner in the evening), two barbeques a nice pool with sunbeds. In terms of standard of the house it is in excellent condition. The entire house is very clean and fresh and feels brand new. The house is divided into two sections which is good if you have that need if you are two families. There are also a washing machine located on the pool level. The location of the house is execellent. Only 10 min walk to the beach and 5 min down to the Rogac harbour where you have a small shop with groceries, bakery, a restaurant, ATM etc (12 min walk if you walk back up to the house). Walking distance from the house for 20 min to a big supermarket for larger purchases in the old town Grohote which is cozy and holds some bars and restaurants. Walking distance to restaurant and just 10-20 minutes with a taxi to almost all other restaurants located on Solta Island. We all were very satisfied with our stay in the house and we highly recommend it if you are looking for a vaccation of piece and quiet, cozy evenings and away from all touristic noice. This isn’t rated exceptional for nothing. It was small, compact, environmentally friendly and sympathetic to the surroundings. The view and location was fantastic, being close by to the main supermarket and pharmacy and despite the relatively small living space, the balcony area offered extra lounge space and great cooking facilities. All little touches were thought about such as condiments, milk and water upon arrival, a decent AC system and to boot, access to artisan beer, grappa, wine and the infamous olive oil of the island. I can’t praise the host Luka enough either - both before and after our stay, he was so helpful in every way possible. We loved it, such a special place!
