The Lemon Tree Apartments left a deep impression on us. They are perfect for those who appreciate quality and attention to detail. The owner has clearly put a lot of heart into the renovations, and it's felt at every turn. The apartments are fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The one we stayed in had two balconies, offering a stunning view of the mountains. We spent a lot of time there, enjoying the serene atmosphere. The apartment owner constantly ensures that flying insects do not bother the guests. The location of the Lemon Tree Apartments is simply ideal: close to the sea, two minutes from shops, yet the noise of the road is not heard. The modern style of the apartments gives them a unique character. Moreover, the presence of good air conditioning makes the stay even more comfortable. What particularly stood out is that the Lemon Tree Apartments are surrounded on all sides by a well-maintained green garden, where one can sit in its shade at a table. Every corner of its territory is lovingly adorned with pots of local plants. We were absolutely delighted and eagerly await the opportunity to return to this place. It's the perfect corner of Greece for nature lovers, secluded beaches, and local cuisine.

The location is great. You have a supermarket and restaurant as well as a pool. The hotel has a beautiful garden with cats that you can feed if you’d like.

Amanda was very friendly and helpful with lots of local knowledge. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Great value for money and really liked the view of the mountain from our terrace when we ate breakfast. Very accessible for the beach, supermarket (great bread) and restaurants.

If you are traveling to the island of Samos in Greece and would like to stay near a very nice beach, I highly recommend Villa Maria in Kampos, on the south/southwest coast of the island. All of the ten rooms have a balcony or a terrace with room for a table and at least two chairs and all of the rooms have a view to the beach. The rooms have a sink, refrigerator, and a stovetop/oven combination unit. There are dishes and cooking utensils available. Although there are many restaurants available in Kampos, there are mini-marts and supermarkets nearby and it is possible for you to prepare meals in your room. Maria and Manolis are excellent hosts. You will be greeted warmly and if you need anything, they will do their best for you. Villa Maria is not located directly on the main road but is separated from it by a well-maintained swimming pool with deck chairs and umbrellas…and the family’s large vegetable garden. Spending time at the beach while you are in Kampos is wonderfully relaxing. To get to the beach from Villa Maria, you walk down the driveway, cross the street, and you are there. When you get to the beach and choose a sunbed under the reed umbrellas, Giannis and the crew at the Island Bar will make you feel welcome and will fill your orders for refreshments promptly. What a wonderfull stay we had at hotel Mary. Filimon is a very friendly and funny host and does anything to make your stay comfortable. Rooms were very clean. We also loved the pool. We visited hotel Mary in July and had the pool to ourselves many times. Pool is well taken care of as well. The hotel is 80 meters away from the (sand) beach, shops, supermarkets and tavernes but you don't hear this in your room. It is very quiet. I loved the hike from the hotel to Marathokampos and to the cave of Pythagoras. Both hikes are 1 hour. We also visited the other side of the island (kokkari, waterfalls, pythagorion, karlovasie) by scooter. You can rent those (and cars as well) on walking distance from the hotel.
