I have been staying in Casa di Gaga on a short vacation trip and the choice turned out to be perfect. The apartment contains everything needed for a short- and medium-term trip, including a kitchen with all amenities and even a Nespresso coffee machine, ironing kit for clothes, full bathroom set and everything is kept in pristine, mint condition. The apartment has been spotless clean on the day of arrival. The location is in the middle of Rethymno old town, so once you set a foot out of the building, you are surrounded by history and very authentic experience during that very moment. The host has been very warm and kind-hearted and ready to help anytime. I am very thankful for the reception and the hospitality. The memories that this trip has gifted are priceless, and I truly hope to return again sometime in the future. Very well worth visiting and I give my highest recommendation.

It is a perfect place for a trip to Rethymno. Close to the city center, no more than 12 minutes walking, this place is cozy, quiet, in a friendly neighborhood. The apartment has everything you need! Everything! Upstairs, on the terrace, you can find a nice view over Mediteranean Sea and Rethymno town. Our apartment was on the ground floor with a big balcony. All the small details are perfectly chosen, and the materials are high quality. Far away, this is the best place until now in Rethymno (7 times in Crete). Congratulations to all the staff involved in this business.

It really like home, even though for one day. We wanted to prolong our stay at Philikon, Rethymno, however it was a short trip this time. The host couple were some of the friendliest proprietors I ever met and I travel a lot both on business and for personal leisure. The owner has a life-long experience in the hospitality business and it really shows. His wife is equally helpful, who speaks multiple languages and is a German native speaker. They both went our of their way to advice us on what to do in the short time we had and assisted us with restaurant reservations. When a motion detector in the room caused the electric plugs to turn off, it was fixed immediately the next day. Breakfast was special in the sense that every morning the host purchased and presented some fresh pastry or typical breakfast food from a local bakery. We enjoyed the closeness of a nice beach, just across the street. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

Perfectly located in the old town, fantastic terrace overviewing the city, very clean and new. At our arrival we found a welcome sweets and fresh fuit, with a rosé bottle and some aperitivo finger food.
