The villa is brilliant, very private and with large grounds and great views - there is a villa above that shares some of the drive, but you are not overlooked or disturbed by it. Villa was equipped with everything we needed and more. The pool was always a lovely temperature because of its great position it captured the warmth of the sun. The curtained cabana next the the pool with daybed and sunbeds was wonderful; our family could all sit together in the middle of the day getting shade or sun depending how you positioned the curtains! The host Pelagia and her family were exceptionally friendly and helpful, responding immediately to any request or slight issue, with treats left for us on arrival and throughout. There was bikes with helmets for us to use. The BBQ area was very impressive.

I didn't buy breakfast, I was preparing by myself because there was everything what I need to cook. Good to have car, because the hotel is a bit far from beach and city.

We stayed 5 weeks and I have to say, I have never met such great people as Linda and Kostas (owners). They are amazing, very friendly and kind. They do full service every week, change and clean everything, and they always add something extra (local speciality, fruit and so on) to the fridge. Apartments are even much nicer and better than in the photos. Really new, nice and bright. Very nice air-conditioning, possibility to use roller shutters everywhere and there is a direct entrance to the garden. The garden is really nice, with sunbeds and a place where to sit or grill. It´s really close to the beach even by walk. But by car, it´s close all too - supermarkets, the city Rethymno and the long beach in Rethymno city. I highly recommend it because in summary: it´s nice and new, it´s very clean, WIFI and air-conditioning are great, the kitchen is very well prepared and the garden. Plus really extra plus that owners are very helpful and friendly! I can´t wait to come back!
