Beautiful villa (even nicer than photos) with a gorgeous garden and mountain view. we were 2 families of 9 adults / teenagers and there was loads of room. We enjoyed walking through the olive groves to the local village each morning for a coffee (great little coffee shop) and freshly baked bread from the traditional bakery. It was a great base to visit Chania and the beautiful surrounding beaches - loved Balos. You do need a car to get the best experience but there is a good bus service from the village. Our hosts were very helpful when we needed a doctor who came to the villa and they were very responsive about any query. There is a small holding next door and the host provided us with some eggs and vegetables which were delicious. The kitchen was very well stocked and we were able to cook and barbecue. The kids and adults spent a lot of time in the lovely pool. We stayed two weeks and the cleaner came and did a thorough clean three times. We had a lovely relaxing holiday and didn’t want to go home!

A really nice and quiet place. Perfect if you want to experience a little bit of rural life in Crete. The owners left us some of the local specialities in the fridge, which was a nice touch!

A fabulous villa, with everything you need. Amazing views across the hills, peace and quiet, a swimming pool and hot tub, and an excellent host. The drive to the villa (last 5 minutes) is on a mixed concrete and dirt track (ie some parts concrete some ddirt) and uphil. We only had a small economy car but it was fine getting u and down. Also worth noting the 3rd double bedroom is underneath the property and separate, which for most will be a big bonus as parents, couples, older children can have their own bedroom/space. If you have younger children who would stay in this room then this may not work so well, as whilst it is part of the property, you do need to go out the main door and down a small set of steps to get to it.

The gardens surrounding the property were blooming with color and the rooms were perfectly maintained and appointed. When I locked myself out the host came within 10 minutes to let me in. Very convenient to Old Town Chania. Be aware that the streets are narrow and partially obscured by foliage, but the isolated feeling is part of its charm.

We were lucky enough to get a couple of nights here due to a prior cancellation. The hosts were absolutely lovely, and gave us advice about the local area and activities. The apartment is large, air-conditioned, and you get a gorgeous view of the valley down below as well as the sea. The village nearby has a couple of great restaurants also.

Very kind staff! Nassos made sure we're not missing any info, constantly stayed in contact with us, he's a very nice host and his family is very sweet too! We've got a really great room and the view from all our balconies was just breathtaking. Quiet surroundings. Tidy and comfortable room, with all needed amenities. Parking is on the street, but there are plenty of spots at all times. Definitely would come back, next time in Chania/ Stalos!

The house was exceptional, tastefully decorated and in excellent condition with two bedrooms, three bathrooms, two terraces with great panoramic views and a very nice pool, centrally located in the small village of Stalos near Chania. During our stay, the neighboring house was empty, so we had the pool and the outdoor area to ourselves. The village of Statos has three restaurants, one of which (the Leventis) is owned by the owner of the house and is one of the best in Crete. Since the restaurant is open until after midnight, handing over the keys in the evening was also no problem. Parking was also no problem, as the house also has a garage. It is a little more than a kilometer to the nearby sandy beach. On the promenade there are many also recommendable restaurants and small stores. The larger supermarkets can be reached in less than 15 minutes by car. We can recommend the house to anyone who wants to explore the west of Crete and spend an evening or two in the historic port of Chania. We went to the botanical garden in Skordalou, the great Elafonisi beach, the nearby Agii Apostoli beach and several times in Chania for dinner. This house is one of the most beautiful ones around Chania!

Everything: beautiful and comfortable house with everything you need. Full of charme in every space, comfortable beds, nice pool, great terrace & patio. With a far sea view but still nice to see it. And excellent host with fantastic service totally personalised. Katerina welcomed us personally, was available for any questions or requests, she gave us plenty of tips about the area and things to do. We could check in earlier and check out later with no problem at all. Totally recommended. Ideally to rent the 2 houses that share the pool with 2 families. We had a very nice family as neighbours.
