There are so many great things to say about this place. We had a great stay. From our room the view was nice. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching the sun rise (despite the rain). The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic, probably the best I've had in a long time. The room was beautifully decorated. We even had our own little living room with two chairs and a TV which was a nice space for us to sit and read.

The location, facilities and warm welcome were amazing. We would recommend appletree cottage to everyone and can't wait to return. We had a lovely surprise with the welcome pack which was full of goodies including wine 🍷we also got to meet the hosts Jim and Diane who are lovely and go out there way to make sure you have wonderful stay.

The location was amazing away from all the noise but still only a short walk to all amenities,the wrap around veranda was great for my 1 year old granddaughter.Everything was amaculate and absolutely everything you need was there.The best thing the Wi-Fi there was 35 of us spread around the campsite for my granddaughter 1Birthday and there signal was rubbish so a big bonus.This was my first time at Craig Tara been to so many other Haven Sites but not this one was very busy for us grandparents but the younger ones loved it.The host of the caravan well done in keeping your caravan so clean will definitely recommend you,thank you for a good weekend oh and the weather was amazing.

Honesty Cottage is quite simply the best self catering holiday let we have ever stayed in. The position of the house was in a quiet cul-de-sac just on the edge of the little seaside town of Maidens on the Ayrshire coast. We love the area because of it being so quiet with beautiful scenery and next to the beach 2 mins away. The bungalow itself was very good, very clean and comfortable with a nice homey feel. It was very well appointed with a separate dining area and a sun room to the rear. The kitchen had every thing that you would need including a full size fridge freezer. The fully enclosed back garden was great for sitting out in and enjoying the peace in the sun. Our little dog loved it. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely hope to return to Honesty Cottage again soon. The surrounding area is full of places to visit like Culzean Castle and grounds. Turnberry is just a short drive away if you play golf, Dunure is close by with its ruined castle and great walks and sea views. Ayr to the north and Girvan to the south for a busier day out for the kids.

Everything was great, everything we needed was there, coffee machine and air frier aswell with all the extras. Loved the welcome manual which I thought was great on how to work everything. Best place can't wait to go back.
