Rose Cottage is a little gem of a holiday home situated perfectly to explore North devon by car or foot. The cottage is cosy with everything you need for a home from home experience and hosts Nancy and Paddy on hand to offer local information and making sure you have everything you need for a great stay.

Excellent tucked away holiday cottage to go with family and/or friends. Location within walking distance from the coast, all comfort provided (including dishwasher and washing machine), tastefully furbished. Very nice hosts, Judith helped us with sorting out the tick "infestation" on our dog when back from walking through farming land (yes, there are ticks everywhere in Devon at this time, so make sure you take extra care for your dogs if they travel with you). Good pubs in short driving distance around - Black Venus was our favourite by far, but you need to reserve in advance. Perfect holiday for coastal walks!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at High Cliff House in Lynton during our journey through the stunning landscapes of South England. Without a doubt, this was the most beautiful and inviting place we have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were spellbound by the immaculate decor and cleanliness that greeted us. Our room was an absolute delight - spacious, cozy, and impeccably neat. The interior design and breathtaking views from our window left us in awe. We could not have asked for a more delightful setting to unwind and soak in the picturesque surroundings. What truly sets High Cliff House apart is the warmth and kindness of the owners. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with anything we needed. We instantly felt at home in their presence, and their genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Regrettably, we couldn't extend our visit as much as we would have liked, as we were captivated by the heavenly breakfast. It was a delight for the senses, and we savored every moment of it. Rest assured, we have already vowed to return to High Cliff House for a longer stay. It's a place that has stolen our hearts, and we cannot wait to relive the enchantment and create more cherished memories. Thank you, High Cliff House, for making our stay an extraordinary one! We loved our stay at The Denes! Even though we visited the area out of season, Chris and Lesley gave us some great recommendations for the area. They were wonderful hosts! The breakfast was excellent too!

location is superb, easy access to the coast path and an easy drive to Exmoor. Breakfast was great, excellent quality. As a vegetarian who dislikes meat substitute products I often find problems when eating out, but not at Longmead House. The best breakfast I've had when away for years.
