Breakfast was delicious each morning! Could not have had a more gracious host. Yen was very friendly and helpful during our stay and had travel recommendations and maps available. She was very thoughtful in preparing fruit snacks available for us during our travels on the island. Property was decorated attractively and was comfortable. Very safe and quiet neighborhood located not far from town (we traveled by car).

Our host Alison was everything and more we could've asked for during our stay on Lewis. Nothing was too much hassle and her home has a lovely feeling about it. The beach close by is very idyllic as well!

Probably the best self-catering accommodation that we have booked through Booking.Com. The cottage is beautifully furnished, comfortable and very well equipped. We absolutely loved it. Whilst not centrally located, Lewis & Harris are small enough for the cottage to be used as a base for exploring both parts of the island. Catherine and Ian were great and generous hosts and made us most welcome. Fisherman's Cottage is an absolute gem.
