Detta is a wonder! She ( and tradespeople) lovingly restored a Mansion built in the Highlands in 1854. Ultra clean and well kept, extremely spacious room, modern bathroom and bed. Small but very well equipped kitchen, a must as its a good drive to food in Thurso. Bring a nice bottle of wine and something microwavable /bakeable, or cook from scratch as we did. Gorgeously kept, extensive gardens! Fabulous locations for short or extensive walking in our 3 days here.

Absolutely everything. It was the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. It’s like a dream house with the perfect house guests. Kevan and Julie were so welcoming and warm, they were also very helpful at everything. My bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was impecable, you’re going to feel at home.
