Maria was the high point of our stay. She is so warm and friendly. She was always helping us with a warm smile and communicated very well. She also pointed out a wonderful trail which has now become the highlight of our European trip. It was because of her and this stay that Hallstatt has become the best place we ever visited. The place is only 5min walking from Hallstatt Lahn bus stand. You can take a buss from obertraun(bus 543). Also to reach here you can take ferry and walk for 15mins. The train arrivals and departures are synced with ferry timings. Bus timings are 30mins away mostly from train timings. But its amazingly synchronized. Dont think just book with Maria.

The hotel owners are very good persons, so lucky meet so good ppls. My wallet was stolened in halstatt, the hotel owner and his family member help me to customer service and her wife even borrow me some crashes. That's help very much! Thank you very much!!! Though it is bad experience be stolen, but lucky meet so many good persons. Much appreicated. The hotel very beautiful!!! Just be care of thiefs.

1.Spectacular view! Right by the lake! It made me as being in the landscape. 2.Quiet especially at night. The location is far away from noisy tourists. The only sound I heard at night came from the swan. 3.The owners are very helpful and friendly. They sent photos of the arrival route in advance by email. These prevented me from getting lost. 4.In the above email they also clearly mentioned the content and price of breakfast. I enjoyed my breakfast by the lake, and the food they provide is healthy and nutritious. 5.It’s my pleasure to live in a house full of history. The wooden balcony and stairs bring me to the past.

The location of this hotel in Hallstatt is perfect, our room overlooked the lake, and we felt like we were in a fairytale everytime we looked out of our window. We were very warmly welcomed upon arrival, and loved our time here. The hotel is just over the road from the fantastic Simple café which do the best red chicken curry, and there is a supermarket about 5 minutes from the hotel.

There was no breakfast served, rather, have kitchen and fridge. Lounge and kitchen separate from the bedroom. Very clean and tidy. There's grocery store nearby, less than 2 minutes walk. Kitchen well-equipped. Very close to Salt Mine, bus parking and parking area about 1 minute distance. Bed is very comfortable, bedroom is very spacious. Host is very friendly and welcoming. Nothing to fault. Nearby sights are all within walking distances.
