The owner was kind to move our room to another hotel as the assigned room had fresh paint and he did not want our infant son to inhale the fumes. The staff were kind to bring all our luggage over.

A recently renovated apartment in Istanbul and within 3 km of Spice Bazaar, Balat Historical Luxury House features a terrace, comfortable soundproof rooms and free WiFi. The air-conditioned accommodation is 3.1 km from Suleymaniye Mosque. The apartment has family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. A very cute and cozy historic stay in Balat. The house had everything you could need and they even had a stocked fridge full of drinks, snacks and Turkish breakfast, it was so kind. There was a washing machine, which was super helpful after 7 days of travel and soap available. There were even adapaters for the outlets which was so helpful. The best part was that the host was so kind and helpful in suggestions restuarants and a great hamam in the area. I would definately stay here again. Our only regret is that we didn't stay in Balat longer because there are so many cute shops and cafe in walking distance to explore.
