The accomodation is very nicely decorated and evertyhing is very functional and equiped for a sort or long stay, in a calm and quiet environment. We couldn't ask for more. Thank you!

Offering river views, Casa de Casarelhos - Estúdio - T1 - T2 - Gerês is an accommodation located in Geres, 3 km from Canicada Lake and 5.8 km from Sao Bento da Porta Aberta Sanctuary. A bit of a narrow road to get to the accommodation. We were met by a very friendly lady. She gave us the key to the apartment (L2). Parking in front of the house. Location is excellent for going to the National Park. The owner gave us plenty of tips to visit the park the next day. L2 is very spacious; a couple of bedrooms (incl a cot), two bathrooms, lounge area and a well-equipped kitchen. When the sun was shining we enjoyed a glass of wine on the balcony. Big outdoor area with bbq. Beds were very comfortable. Wood fire worked well and all rooms were on a very nice temperature. Overall we were very happy with our stay and can recommend this apartment to other travellers or families.
