Our first stay at Bob W in Gamle Oslo was superb. We booked a room, not knowing that we would get pretty much a one-bed apartment all to ourselves, with all the facilities you might need (including a fully-functional kitchen). We love the coffee, tea, and cookies and the personal touches like a handwritten postcard left on the table for us. The location is about 20-30mins walk from Oslo Sentral. The neighborhood is not the poshest part of town, but there is a subway station nearby. Accessing the building & unit through the app was easy and seamless. We were so happy with our stay that since then, we have stayed at Bob W Tower of London & Berlin Mitte - and we'll keep booking Bob's for an awesome stay in a local neighborhood wherever we go!

This apartment-hotel is in the "old town" part of Drammen, more charming and more restaurants compared to the other side of the river (based on my observation and the comments from my colleagues who were staying in hotels on the other side of the river). The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and pots and pans. Espresso machine worked well - more capsules available at the supermarket across the road. Bathroom well stocked with hand wash and lotion, shampoo/body wash and conditioner. Loved having the washing machine - there was a drying rack and things dried quickly overnight. Bed was very comfy and so was the couch in the living room. Easy to cast from your phone to the TV for apps like Youtube and I believe there was also Netflix. Lovely view of the Bragernes church tower from the window (I was on the top floor). Elin provided quick assistance when asked via the Bookings.com app. Easy to get into the building with the app (download Upkey before your stay....instructions to do this came while I was travelling and it was difficult to download on the move) or a provided keycard and into the apartment with a short number. Short walk over the bridge to the train station - note there is an elevator on the train station side but you have to look for it behind the staircase, and no stairs on the hotel side of the river. Wifi worked very well, in fact better than the office I was working at during the week. Coworker had an even nicer room across the hall from me.

Though staying for only 2 nights, it has been great and a good start for exploring the Geilo area. We enjoyed the well equipped and comprehensive kitchen, good wifi, comfy beds and comfy couch seating :)

Ormåsen loft is a small private accommodation in Ormåsen. The property boasts views of the garden is 21 km from Drammen. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. The loft is a beautiful Norwegian house in very cozy neighbourhood. It was on our way from Oslo to Preiksetolen. The host was nice. The house has everything you may need to cook and feel good.
