The family who runs Maple Place are so kind and thoughtful, lots of attention to detail. They allowed us to leave our bags early and even provided a cold drink while we waited for the room to be ready. The room was clean, exactly as pictured, always had hot water, and ac/fan worked excellently. Location on the main road was a short walk or tuk tuk ride to the beach or town. The breakfast was so delicious and had variety for our 3 night stay. Highly recommend we would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful peaceful garden with excellent home-grown fruit. Beautiful place, close to the train, but it didn't matter. Close to the beach. Many amazing fireflies at night, but there are mosquitoes too - you must have repellent. Room was cozy, the bed was very comfortable.

The accommodation was large with a living/dining room w/balcony and a complete private kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, stove, and hot water maker and tea. The free breakfast was delicious and brought right to our room.

It felt very luxurious and super comfortable. Highly recommended!!

Kavindu is a very polite and thoughtful host. I was even greeted with a coconut. The house has been completely renovated and is very tastefully decorated. Basically, the accommodation is very clean and the direct beach location is an absolute dream.
