A personal welcome on the tv screen with a historical video about Civita welcomed us, as well as any & every snack and breakfast item that might tempt us and a well-stocked fridge. The bed was comfortable and the updated bathroom very nice. Carlo was so hospitable, offering to drop us off and pick us up by the entrance to Civita (which we especially appreciated on the return trip!) whenever we were ready. A most pleasant stay - and should we return, we will definitely stay at Carlo and Primia’s home again!

Hosts offered to pick me up at the train station. When I arrived at the apartment, they provided biscotti, an entire torte, and more snacks than I could eat during my 5 day stay. 2 bottles of wine and 2 small bottles of homemade digestive. The kitchen was fully equipped and spotlessly clean.. The bed and pillows were wonderfully firm and had flannel sheets, and a thick bathrobe was provided. TVs in both rooms. A perfect location in the medieval Pelelgrino district, quiet but near 3 good restaurants and several tourist attractions. A huge supermarket 500 meters away. This was a special place to stay.

The property is on four levels, a true medieval casa-torre with kitchena and a small bathroom on the ground floor, well equipped, a very nice first floor with an elegant living room, a second floor with two rooms and a bathroom and then a common space under the roof with additional beds. Very spacious and quiet, very warm with individual heat controls at each floor. Patrizia was great in communicating, giving precise instructions and information about the stay and things to do in the area. The area down the alley away from the main street is truly a journey through time.

Valentina was very kind, and organised a taxi service for us from the train station as we came from Rome to Bomarzo for a few days to see the Sacro Bosco and explored Bomarzo. A special mention to Pietro her lovely Dad ❤️ The flat was well equipped with all sorts of items. It was comfy and warm, even in November during a storm!
