Since August is a high vacation period, we consider the price fair vs. of what we got back.

Marina, the host was really thoughtful and helpful! She even brought us a homemade jam, which was really good! The location was excellent if you want to enjoy the original Skyros' life/ vibes along the narrow streets! The car cannot enter the old town of Chora, but there is a free Municipal parking around 5 minutes (uphill) walking from Katoi! Go for a walk or shopping until midnight, and make sure to take your breakfast in the traditional coffee shops! Everything is 2 minutes walking from there! You will might need the car if you want to go for a swimming, as there are a lot of beautiful beaches all around the island!

Located within less than 1 km of Girismata Beach and a 17-minute walk of Molos Beach, Skyros Seaside Retreats - Serenity by the Pool provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Skiros. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the apartment free of charge. The apartment features family rooms. The house was clean and well equipped. The swimming pool was also clean. The location is convenient as it is a 10’ drive from Chora, you can walk to Magazia beach(even though we drove 4’ as we have young children). 8’ by foot there is a nice bakery which does also delivery for certain meals.

We visited the island of Skyros for our summer vacation and we couldn’t have found a better place to stay. Aktaia apartments were unlike any other place that we have stayed. From the view and location that were on the beach, to the amazing owners that welcomed us, we had the best possible vacation experience we could ever have. Can’t wait to visit them again next year! We wholeheartedly recommend.
