Giannis is a peach of a guy always ready to help.

It features self-catering accommodation with private balcony. There is no access by car to this accommodation as you have to go through a traditional cobbled path to reach it. Incredible room, very comfortable stay. The owner came to meet me off the boat and walk me over to the room. The room itself was very well appointed and had a very comfortable bed with high-quality bed linens and mattress. The view from the room was excellent - looking right over the katapola port area. Powerful, hot shower and little kitchenette as well (which I didn't need to use as the restaurants are so close and so many to choose from).

The port of Katapola is only 400 meters away and parking area is 100 meters away. What we liked about this place? absolutely everything: the staff, the comfort, the view and the position. We were on holidays to celebrate the birthday of the mom of my husband. 2 adults couple and the mom. 3 wonderful rooms. I explained all about that to Themis that handle the place already before our arrival. He made our stay really special. He loves is job and he made really everything to let us feel more then good. The day of the birthday of the Mom he organized also the cake for her without we knew and for free! Amazing. We want really to thanks Themis. He catched us to the port and help with the luggages because the studios have some steps up to do to arrive to them but it is totally worthy. The room are big, clean, comfortable and with a terrace with a spectacular view on the see, a small full equipped kitchen. In 3 min walking down we were at the wonderful port of Katapola and close to bars and restaurants. It Was my 4th time in Amorgos and I have to say this was really the most wonderful stay. Katapola is perfect to visit the Island. What can I say more... do not hesitate to book!

Each studio at Aelia opens to a terrace while some feature unobstructed Aegean Sea views. A well-equipped kitchen is available in every studio. Each includes a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The bathrooms are stocked with a shower and offer free toiletries. Loved it! The photos are on point, no hidden imperfections of the room. We booked a sea-view studio on the 3rd floor which was amazing! We could watch the sunset and the entire golf of Aegiali. Perfect location with amenities right next to it, available street parking in front of the Studios. The stuff was very helpful and kind and determined to make your a stay a pleasure, with recommendations for shops/beaches/restaurant to go to. If I ever come back to Amorgos surely I'll stay at Aelia again!

Airy and air-conditioned, all studios at Nostos have a light blue kitchenette with cooking hobs and mini fridge. Other facilities include a flat-screen TV and hairdryer. Some studios offer views of the Aegean Sea. The studio was of a much higher standard than I expected, given the great value price. Well decorated, lovely bathroom, with hot water available constantly. The balcony was really large and well equipped with a great view of the bay. Just a few minutes walk from the port, although it was up quite a steep hill.

The owners were very friendly; suggesting things to see and places to go. They were very helpful with all questions we had. We rented a car from them, which was easy (also the driving was easy). The room was large and clean with a nice balcony overlooking the mountains/hills and village with partial view of the ocean. The location was very quiet. The hotel is located a couple of minutes walk from the center of the village. The hotel is definitely a place I would recommend to other travelers. We also liked the island. Many old villages and a monastery to explore. Nice drive through the island with beautiful hidden beaches.
