The room was specious with all the things necessary for 10 days vacation. Athanasia picked us up from the Port when we came and drove us to Port when we left. Room was cleaned every day and it was the service which tops the one you get in best hotels. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped (toaster, kettle, refrigerator...). WiFi was really good which sometimes can be issue on Greek Islands. Near the place is a bus stop where you can take a bus to Old Village (in the evening) or to Steni Vala and go to many different beaches in between. On walking distance from apartment, maybe 100m, there is a beach. It's a good one, but definitely there are many more good beaches which are a bit further. Alonissos is amazing peaceful island which we will definitely visit again and having such great host and apartment to stay made our holiday even better.

We got very clean room with balcony that is a few minutes from supermarket and all the restaurants. Beach is located very close, you have 5 minute walk to get there. Great value for the money.

Fitted with leather beds and tiled floors, all rooms of Machi are equipped with air conditioning, fridge, hobs for making coffee, toaster and a TV. Each unit features a modern bathroom with shower cabin, hairdryer and free toiletries. The room looks better than the pictures which was a great and very positive surprise. It is cosy, and very clean. The location is very good with easy access and quiet. The staff is very polite, always available and willing to help and provide great tips for the island!

Quietly located in lush greenery, Litsa Studios is only 500 metres from Alonissos Port and Rousoum Gialos Beach. It offers self-catering accommodation with Aegean Sea views form their furnished balcony. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. I stayed here for the month of June, doing a mixture of working and holidaying – here’s what I loved about the place. Studios: Simple but nice and clean rooms. Fabulous sea views. Kitchenette had most of the things needed so that I could eat in a fair bit, using the hob, toaster etc. Enough storage space for a holiday place too. I really enjoyed being able to have breakfast on the terrace listening to the sparrows chirping. The road outside is quiet too. As I was working remotely, I really appreciated the WiFi in the rooms which was perfectly adequate – I could have video meetings perfectly fine. Location: This was perfect as you get the best of both worlds. Six minute walk to Roussoum beach (not my favourite beach, but it has nice snorkelling and a few little tavernas – I could snorkel in my lunch hour which was ideal!). Less than 10 minute walk to the main port area along a lovely little stone path. You’re also not far from the rocks which has a ladder down to the sea – great for snorkelling also with some interesting underwater architecture. If you’re ok to walk, Milia beach is about 45 mins walk via Votsi which was my favourite. Price: I think this represents really good value for money. Customer service: This is excellent. When there was a small issue in the room (the AC didn’t work), it was fixed within hours. The place is kept spotless and things are cleaned as needed. Most importantly for me, Litsa is the sweetest person. I feel like I will miss seeing her everyday and she made me feel as welcome as she could. Our language barrier never seemed an issue, and she was always kind and supportive, and I felt like I had a local mother! (Litsa I will miss you – thank you for having me!!). This is a great find and I wholeheartedly recommend it. Great rooms, great price, great location and wonderful hosts.

Location excellent, everything in close proximity. Friendly and polite staff, available whenever needed. Room was clean and house-kept frequently. Excellent balcony view to the village's small port.
