We had planned to use it as a base for exploring other areas but when we arrived it had such a great vibe that we decided to spend our time locally so we could enjoy the property and room for longer times. I can’t say enough. This is a gorgeous large country property on Loch Ness. Horses roamed freely. I immediately just took off my shoes and sat in the grass overlooking the Loch. I felt so at peace. I hear a neigh and turn to see two beautiful horses walking behind me. The breeze off the Loch and the lapping of the water against the shore was delightful. The owner was so nice. He told us he had highland cattle on his property so on day two we set off to find them. The property was huge and full of delightful discoveries- a lake, a treehouse, fields of wildflowers and we found the cattle and took some beautiful photos. And the private house we stayed in was so perfect with a peaceful outlook comfortable bed and small self catering kitchen. We actually decided to go to the grocery store and eat in just to prolong our use of the house. And on day two we drank our coffee on the porch with the horses in view behind us. I could gush on but you get the point. You have to experience this- words just can’t give you that ‘feeling’ that being here provides.

The property was easy to find, extremely clean and everything you needed was available. Including the booklet with all information on the local attractions and shops.

Excellent welcoming hosts, great facilities. Bed, shower, kitchen all excellent. Extensive valuable advice to explore the area. Wonderful spot for 3 days! ( or longer, easily)

Offering a garden and mountain view, Cameron apartment Loch Ness is situated in Fort Augustus, 50 km from Glen Nevis and 27 km from Urquhart Castle. Fantastic little apparment just a short walk from the loch. Tina the host was brilliant with communication throughout. Free parking was an added bonus. Lots of little small details that have been thought about by the host such as a bottle of whine and local biscuits left for us on arrival. Loved the fact that tea and coffee and milk was provided (often isn't in self catering) this was really handy as we only stayed one night. Travelled with out little dog and even he had been thought of. Lovely little hamper left for us to use containing a blanket, bowls, balls, poo bags and a bag of treats. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back! Thank you so much Tina!

Located in Fort Augustus, within 26 km of Urquhart Castle, Monastery apartment with Loch Ness view is an accommodation offering mountain views. The place was indeed magic. The apartment was nice and clean with a great view. The wonderful buildings and a very nice pool with a fantastic pool. The Lounge and the garden was very charming.
