The property has an outdoor dining area. We loved EVERYTHING about this property! It is beautifully appointed with tons of extras to make your stay more comfortable. From the milk, OJ, bread for toast, butter, jam, coffee, tea, and of course the welcoming dram of whisky, we were extremely happy campers! The place was spotless and very well lit (poor lighting is one of my pet peeves in hotels!). We also loved how cutely it was decorated and the bathrooms were large with fantastic showers. You are only two miles from Portree, so very convenient. If traveling to Skye again, we would stay there again in a heartbeat!!

I really appreciated the super comfy bed and the thoughtful details like the full length mirror on the bathroom door or the air purifier or that all the controls can be accessed from bed. Even better, the people who run it are kind and patient and helpful, they gave me great advice and I was very grateful for their help after I lost my wallet.

A warm and cosy apartment with views out to sea. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed.
Remote, private and cosy. Had everything we needed for our short stay. Host had great communication and very helpful with any questions. Restaurants and shops are a decent drive away so we made sure we had supplies to cook which worked well.

The best place that we stayed in entire Scotland! Carys was an extremely welcoming host. The apartment was spacious and well-equipped. Just in case of bad weather, you can choose from a big variety of books, board games, and BlueRay movies. Views from the apartment's window were amazing. You can also take a short walk to see beautiful cliffs. Highly recommended! We hope to visit Lofthouse again.
Great location near the harbour in Portree- we had flat 1A- no view but easy to find & park. Good amount of space in the apartment & liked the picnic table outside although by the road. Good value accommodation.
