My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Plawsworth Hall Serviced Cottages and Apartments, and I was absolutely blown away by the experience. The property is located in the idyllic village of Plawsworth, just a short drive from Durham City. The setting is absolutely stunning, with rolling hills and lush green countryside all around. The cottages and apartments themselves are beautifully appointed and spacious. Our two-bedroom apartment had everything we could possibly need, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, and two bedrooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we slept like babies. The owner of the property, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He was on site to greet us on arrival and gave us a tour of the property. He also made sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. We spent our days exploring the beautiful countryside around Plawsworth. We visited Durham Cathedral, Hadrian's Wall, and the Beamish Museum. We also enjoyed some great food at the local restaurants. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Here are some additional details about our stay: The rooms were very clean and well-maintained. The apartment is composed of 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and 1 bathroom. A flat-screen TV is featured. The appartment was beautiful. Really spacious and light. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the rooms were nicely decorated. Loads of tea, coffee and sugar provided and a well stocked kitchen. ( we did have to hunt out the secret cutlery drawer, although that could have been us being daft!) There was every take away you could wish for in the villiage, plus an Italian restaurant. If we found ourselves visisting that area again, we would definitely stay there again. Although not a real criticism, it would have been great to know that you need to call the owners on arrival for a key code... Nonetheless 10/10 from us!!!!
