It was compact but we enjoyed sitting on the patio overlooking the garden. It was a short drive into the centre of town. The owner met us promptly and gave us a thorough tour. Instruction booklets were supplied for all appliances. Bed was comfortable. Parking was available in a designated spot at the front of the ground floor apartment. There was good security.

The owners live upstairs and gave us great recommendations. the place is very well located, close to everything and it was easy to park.

Each apartment offer a large terrace. If you would like to discover the area, cycling and hiking are possible in the surroundings. The owner gave clear instructions to ring before arrival and we met at the front gate without any problems. Entering the property with our car was easy and on-site and secure parking was much appreciated. The villa is set inside a compound, which is off the main road. It is quiet, tranquil, provides ocean views across the fantastic landscaped garden. The apartment has its own private terrace where you can have drinks at sunset and view the ocean. Furnishings, bedding, kitchen appliances, electrical connections are SUPERB and well thought out. Owners are delightful, welcoming and focused on making guests comfortable. Everything is spotless and clean. We intend to stay again as this is a memorable place!

It is within walking distance to the train station and the centre of St Jean de Luz. There is even heated open swimming pool next to the building, unfortunately we didn't have time to use it.
