Best thing is that my son left his plush gingerbread man. The host send it to our house in Holland for free. My son was so happy! Everything was there. It’s like coming home to a compleet house. Even a lot of toys and games. Everything was clean and there were groceries so we could have breakfast in the morning (no bread though, but crackers, yoghurt, fruits, milk, confiture, Nutella, etc.). And a jar of madeleines :-). The town has a nice center. We stayed only one night on our way to the south of France. There at two spacies bedrooms and a sleepingcouch in the livingroom. There is a separate toilet and a bath (with shower in it), sink and washing machine in the bathroom.

The accommodation is in an old residential area of Limoges. We were lucky enough to find a parking space a few yards up the street. The studio flat is on the 2nd floor, quite compact but with all the basics to prepare a meal. However we didn't manage to work out how to close the shutters outside the window! Town is about 1km away, with a square containing bars and a cinema

It was an easy walk to the covered Les Halles market and shops. Restaurants close by . Host was very friendly. Goid secure parking at the rear of the property. perfect for a short stay
We stayed in the self contained apartment which was very comfortable, everything you need . We were to only couple there. It’s very quiet , we would visit some villages in the morning and relax by the pool in the afternoon. If you didn’t have self catering you would have to travel by car to town to a restaurant, 5 minutes away.

Location was perfect - in the heart of the mediaeval streets very close to the cathedral. The apartment was scrupulously clean and spacious. Well-equipped small kitchen. Everything was perfect for a short stay.
