The property is around 2.7 km from Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, 3.1 km from San Mamés Metro Station and 3.3 km from Funicular de Artxanda. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Catedral de Santiago is less than 1 km away. Apartment was exceptional, impossible to fault really.

It Was well located, lots of shops around and the metro was also very near to the property and to the city centre. There was also a park opposite the property which can be of a good use with kids. Ana was very helpful and responsive.

Towels and bed linen are available in the apartment. The accommodation is non-smoking. Our stay at Bilbao Azkuna exceeded all our expectations. We were met by Luis's daughter on arrival. Keys were handed over with an explanation about the facilities etc. The previous day we had received a booklet about the local restaurants and hints about things to do which was really useful. Based on the host's recommendation we had also made a dinner reservation. The appartment was fully furnished and very well equipped. You name it....It was there. Dishwasher, washing machine and and other well appointed appliances. Two full toilets,excellent showers. Spacious. Easy parking and an elevator too. Wonderful location. Luis was a host par excellence. We had a problem with some tolls and it was handled by him. Thanks a ton. Bilbao is a great city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the excellent Basque food!

The apartment is located on the edge of the historic district which makes it easily accessible to walk the city. The apartment had free off street parking which was nice. The apartment had a smart tv to stream Netflix as well as watch the futbol matches. Bed was comfy, kitchen fully stocked to cook. Laundry machine and drying rack. It had it all.

And the location was really convenient. Would absolutely stay again on a return trip to Bilbao.

Retrieving the keys was difficult bc the taxi driver from the airport didn’t know the address, nor could he understand the gps coordinates to the store with the lockbox that you need to access to obtain your keys. It didn’t occur to me beforehand this would be an issue. Still kind of don’t understand. He dropped us off at the edge of a street into old towns, and we dragged our suitcases to a cafe where I used my paper map to figure out where to go. Had to leave my Mom with the bags while I retrieved the keys that wer about a 10 min walk away. Once I found the store, it was easy. So just make sure you have a secondary location for the taxi to drop you off if, like ours, the first was impossible. Oh, and street names in old town seem to change by the block. Super confusing.

Well designed and well equipped apartment in a great location in the old town on a bustling square with very nice restaurants. It was perfectly located for a restful few days away from Bilbao. Great beaches nearby and walkable. Hosts were kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Loved it!
