Distance from the resorts which was important for us, calmness and laid-back atmosphere of the place itself, view from the terrace, rooms size and cleanness, arrangement and concept, we liked everything! Many grocery shops are just around the corner, local city bus 100m away, and most important, sea with (literally private) beaches are 5min from the room, just a step from the back gate! And on top of all this, there is great hospitality of hosts who approached us with kindness and honesty, information about the city, and helped organize day trip. Staying at Abouseif guest house exceeded our expectations in so many ways...

At the apartment complex, some units are allergy-free. The location of the hotel is mere 10-15 min walking distance just off the busy tourist spots and streets e.g. German Bakery in Lighthouse. The hotel itself gives me more of a B&B or self - catering apartment vibe, which is very nice as it feels more authentic,, local, peaceful and I felt very safe while staying there with my son. I would say the place is not suitable for small children. My 5***** go to Adnan (friendly, attentive and very enthusiastic guest manager) who is ready to twist and turn to keep his guests happy- should it be a friendly laugh and conversation, a room upgrade, tea or coffee, or a quick run to the nearest pharmacy when you badly need it and can not make it yourself. He is an absolute sunshine. My absolute favorite is their "Egyptian corner" on the rooftop where to relax in the evening and meet up with new people. I travelled off season, so it was nice and quiet there!

Ras um Sid is 2.1 km away and Al Fanar Light House is 2 km from the apartment.

The apartment has 1 bedroom, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fully equipped kitchenette with an oven and a fridge, a washing machine, and 1 bathroom with a shower. The host was kind and offered me a taxi to arrive to the property. I collected the keys. It was a few minutes walking from old Market and there were shops and restaurants near by. The accomodation was clean and tidy and we're well equipped. There have small oven, fridge, wifi... I would recommend to anyone who visit Sharm

Little oasis paradise with a nice swimming pool, clean rooms and friendly staff. I overslept the breakfast but Mohammed Omar was kind enough to still provide me and help me with everything needed to find good places for trips and taxi rides. Recommed place!

Nice large apartment with all facilities including cooker, kettle, washing machine and large screen tv's The complex has pools, restaurants and a choice of mini markets. The markets have reasonable pricing with no need to haggle. Ahmed is the perfect host, very knowledgeable and very hospitable. I did some diving with Ahmed, and joined him and some friends for a fantastic fish dinner at a local restaurant. He has very good English and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. The location is good for access to all areas of Sharm. The complex is clean, tidy and secure. Highly recommended. If you want a great apartment and a local dive instructor and enthusiast then this is perfect. Ahmed met me at the apartment as arranged on arrival, and I only booked it in the morning before my flight to Sharm.
