The apartment we had was clean and comfortable. We found the bed very comfortable, maybe a bit too firm for some. The apartment is part of a mill complex and is family run. The place was so peaceful and who doesn’t want to fall asleep to the glorious sound of running water! The location was perfect, easy to park there and walk up in to Rothenburg, it is uphill but we are in our seventies and managed it with comparative ease in about 10 minutes. Parts of the mill are very old and the history of the place was visible in the buildings. The family who own the place were lovely and friendly and very welcoming. We felt the apartment was excellent value for money, we have stayed in similar places in the English Lake District but at three times the cost. Highly recommended!

The apartment is in an ideal location. It is very well-equipped, spacious, and clean. We had everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable.

There's a part of the building that's still awaiting renovation but don't worry, at this point, it's all quiet. The apartment itself is brand new but incorporates some of the old beams. It is very comfortable, spacious, and fitted with everything one could need, including things for actual cooking, not just a fridge and a kettle. The host was very helpful and kind. Oh, and what is not so usual in Europe ... the apartment actually has a well-functioning air-conditioning unit, very quiet, modern, and efficient. The bedroom is not large but feels very quiet and restful. The sitting room has a super comfortable sofa.

Unfortunately we didn't meet them but it doesn't make us worrid cos the host was answering the messages very fast and nice. We had a nice stay there.
