The farm cottages are in a very quiet location on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn about ten minutes by car from the centre. Having springbok in the garden just made the property feel more rural and relaxing, It is a gresat place to stay if you are doing Route 62 from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth. Nice for a couple of days rest and relaxation. When we were staying at Mayfair Farm Cottages the hosts were away but they left us in the more than hands of Josh. He went above and beyond to help us when I needed emergency medical treatment. He took us to the clinic, stayed with us and took us back to the cottage. We will always remember his kindness, Thanks Josh.

The host was very accommodating and could provide transport into town to get to the shops when required. It was a relaxed space where my doggie could feel at ease. Linen on bed was of high quality and attention to detail in the kitchen was appreciated. It made self-catering effortless. Was very grateful for the air conditioner on a hot day.
