The hosts had really spent a lot of time and effort on the finishing touches of the property. It was really clean and well decorated and furnished, with lovely little extras such as chocolates dotted about and popcorn and snacks and offer of a free movie on them. Outdoor space was lovely, a highlight was watching the hummingbirds feeding off the feeder. Lovely.

Loved the peace and quiet and surrounding outdoor area. The outdoor shower and sitting garden with all the wildlife was really wonderful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could explore longer.

I'm so glad I found this place. Stayed for a week while on a course. It really felt like home from home. Fully equipped kitchen, so it's easy to cook properly at home.
Lovely retro vibe and lots of quirky additionals, like magazines and design books from the sixties.
Very clean, everything worked. Comfortable bed.
Quiet part of town at the top of the hill, with an amazing vista out over the town and valley towards Palm Springs.

Ok this review is a little tricky because your view of this property is based on what you were really after. So for us this property worked pretty well. We stayed 6 nights and the location is right on the outskirts of Desert Hot Springs which worked for us as we wanted to visit Joshua Tree, the Aerial Tramway, Outlet Centers, Air Museum, AHL Game and Palm Springs (Modernism Week), so it's in the middle of all of that. If you were just interested in Palm Springs that I would suggest you stay in closer in to Palm Springs as it is a bit of hike (25 mins drive on the freeway) on a daily basis.
The apartment is on the bottom floor and has good access, Kitchen, Lounge and Bedroom are fine but the Bathroom is tiny. Good TV and streaming options. As others have mentioned its pretty dark as we were only there at night, pretty much it didn't really bother us but if you were staying during the day it would be pretty dark and not very private. There is a Vons 10. mins drive away.

Great location for us accessing Joshua tree national Park. The space was very comfortable, really good mattress and large master bedroom. Pretty much an apartment by itself. Sunsets and sunrises were glorious
We found this eclectic gem located in Yucca Valley, CA. The host, Carol was very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. She was very helpful in getting an additional night’s reservation, which was extremely helpful. Carol went way beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable. Casa Morada, a 3-bedroom (pet friendly) residence space was very clean and had all of the necessities (Air Conditioning, Kitchen, Wi-Fi, large flat screen TV) for a two night stay,.July 21, 23, 2023.
Cute apartment, perfectly located to visit Joshua Tree. Clean (although not spotless). Well-equipped, e.g. fire pit. The instructions made everything very easy.
