The wife and I just returned from a superb weekend at the storybook cottage barn. The location, the hospitality, the serenity were all ten out of ten. We highly recommend this lovely jewel in the countryside.

    Location was beautiful, our room looked out over the lake. Room was large, felt like a studio apartment! We liked the uniqueness of the hotel and felt like were 'off the grid'

    Beautiful property with expansive views of the mountains and sunset, so peaceful and comfortable, very close to Julian town but feels like a world away, access to an entire house with large and great kitchen and common areas and our room was almost like an apartment, very kind and friendly innkeeper

    Location was great? Bedding was good. Hard, flat pillows was BAD. No microwave. ONLY a Danish pastry and coffee was offered for a "bed & breakfast".

    Super quiet but convenient location. Beds were perfect. Loved the little extras like coffee, wine and.just a few kitchen essentials. Easily cooked a meal while there. I live in a condo so full fenced yard for my 2 little dogs was a real treat, they got to explore. Very clean. Communications with host was clear and easy.
