This is a lovely place to stay in a very safe location with excellent links to the BART station that allows easy access all over Berkeley and San Francisco. The Star grocery store is 10 minutes walk away and they have an amazing and unusual selection of foods. Their cheese selection and gluten free bread was fabulous. Zachary's Pizza just down on College Ave served the best gluten free pizza I have ever eaten

Spacious inside with balcony with great views and also a patio. Very comfortable beds and sofas and nicely decorated. All the appliances you could ever need too! A warm welcome and helpful suggestions too. A very convenient location for visiting the Bay area without being in the density of the big city vibe or the fog on the coast. The location was conveniently close to the Muni stop to get to downtown San Francisco so we didn’t need to use our car. The beach was close by to watch the evening sunset.

The location was a good, but not fancy neighbourhood. There was a wide range of restaurants (somewhat fancy to somewhat shabby) and coffee shops within walking distance. Also lots of public transit options close by, with the cable car right out front (cable cars cost more than buses). The room description matched my expectations (small, fold-out bed), and had a decent sized fridge and microwave.

The location was super convenient for us and it was lovely to stay on the water. The unit had everything we needed.
The host was very responsive, and the check-in process was seamless. Parking was always available. It was fun to see the seaplane and helicopter coming and going right outside, and it's only during the day so the noise wasn't a bother. Having the Good Earth (top-notch organic supermarket) a few minutes away is fantastic!

Location was great. We needed to catch an early train and it was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel- saved us lots of stress. The room was more like a self contained apartment- very spacious with a kitchen, large fridge and living room. Bathroom was amazing especially the shower. There were lots of food options in the Market Place right next door.
Convenient for the Emeryville Amtrak station, which was my gateway to and from San Francisco. The room/hotel provided all that I needed for a short stay.
The room was like a super nice apartment. It was very spacious and comfortable. I loved having the balcony. Loved the full kitchen with all the dishes and utensils. Separate bedroom was especially nice. All of that comfort, PLUS...pet friendly!!

Breakfast is great. Staff is nice. The one-bedroom apartment is big with a nice balcony view. Things are clean in general. The hotel is very close from the train station, so it's convenient.
We used this hotel as a base for our son's UC Berkeley graduation. Although a bit far from campus, it was very convenient with a rental car. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good! Highly recommended.
