Cheap hotel in the city center close to the train station - perfect for a short stay before a planned trip. Nice service, close to Family Markt and 7 Eleven and a night street food market.
The Tamarind is not a hotel. It aims at long and short stay residents.
However it was clean, peaceful and provided a good place at a reasonable rate.
It was a long weekend and most hotels were booked out.
A taxi is needed to take you to most places while walking covers a market, coffee and food which are a couple of blocks.

we have stayed here a few times now as we are building a house not far away and it’s so convenient and not expensive, the staff are good and the rooms are are always clean, good modern flatscreen tv with an excellent picture quality, the zircon is good and more importantly it’s quiet.
