The location is great because it puts you within an hour away from Sagres in the east and Faro towards the west. The malls and restaurants of Portimao are about 20 mins away. The masjid in Albufeira for Friday is about 30 mins away. And ofcourse, the famous Benagil caves are almost right there. The hosts Martha and her husband live nearby so they show up to help. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the apartment but they swooped in to help and the neighbors opened their doors to us while we waited. We will always remember their kindness. The pool is regularly cleaned and we had it entirely to ourselves throughout our stay.

Our host Nina, has set up the place so wonderfully well. She definitely has paid a lot of attention to detail. She has even provided her guests with make-up remover pads! The room was very comfortable, spacious and airy. The kitchen was very well-equipped. We had a shared terrace overlooking the pool and a nice view of the terrain nearby. The beach is just a 10 minute walk away. You also have a few restaurants in the vicinity where you could walk to. The beach that I mentioned Praia do Vale de Centianes is part of the 7 Hanging Valleys Trail and you can use it as the start/end point. All in all had a great time there.
