The beach house was phenomenal. Exceptionally clean, well decorated, there was coffee, bottled water and port for us on arrival. The key access was simple and directions very accurate so took no effort to get in. Their lovely wee enclosed balcony was the perfect spot to relax in the mornings and evenings, very comfortable with stunning faerie lights throughout. Our host provided exceptional dinner reservations as well and the flat was only one street away from the beach! Would've loved to stay longer!

Excellent place to visit Sintra, Cascais, Cabo da Roca and the beaches on the Atlantic. We really felt at home at Casa Bolacha. The hosts Luci and Charles were super helpful and pleasant. We especially loved our little terrace to have a meal outside (when it was warm enough). Sometimes the cat would visit! The bedroom is very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a simple holiday meal. In the village, you can find different mini markets, a local shop, market stands to buy fresh fish and meat (only open some days) and on the weekends there is the lovely St. André market. The little village of Almoçageme offers a calm atmosphere as well as some lovely cafés and restaurants in walking distance. The closest beach (Praia da Adraga) can be reached by foot as well. Great fish restaurant there, be sure to book your table in advance! We had a car and didn't use public transport but there are many bus stops around as well.
