The apartment was absolutely gorgeous, even better than the photos. The area was very quiet (end of season) with a lot of building work going on around but this didn`t spoil our time there. It was like walking into a brand new build & everything you could possibly need was provided. The rooftop terrace was huge and we definitely made good use of it. The host Joca was lovely & even gave us wine cheese & Olives etc on arrival. She was so friendly & replied straight back when I had a query. We went to a few lovely traditional Portuguese restaurants in the area and the food was lovely. We can`t wait to return & wouldn`t hesitate to recommend the apartment.

A quiet, safe neighbourhood close to Cabanas with nearby grocery stores, restaurants, and two blocks from the train station one way and the bus station the other. We walked to Cabanas Island at low tide on a road just east of Conceição and saw live shellfish including a sea star and found a sea urchin shell.
