Maria is a wonderful host and the historic apartment is just incredible! You have both the views of the river and the CASTLE and it is on a quiet street that is not far from Old Town. It was very fun when answering where we were staying, to say, "near the Castle." Haha. There is also a nice recreation area across the small street. We loved it there. We ordered breakfast and Maria provided trays of meat, fruit, cheese, spreads, and homemade breads and cakes. Also, real coffee and a coffee press and espresso machine. It was really nice to have while we were there. There are 5 flights of stairs, but my 82-year old mother was able to take them because for 4 flights of them there is a sturdy railing, and for one flight there is a wall. It is a couple minutes from a wonderful walk around the river and around the castle. There is a bus station less than 10 minutes walk.
