My family and I had simply the best time in this incredibly well thought-out retreat. There was something for everyone and I'd like to think we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest extent. From the 3 different kinds of pools (swimming pool, spa pool, hot tub) to the BBQ, fully equipped kitchen (to whip up just about anything you fancy), and the board games to entertain in the evenings - there was never a moment where we weren't entertained. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and welcoming (even allowing us a late check-out). We all simply had the best time and I cannot recommend this place more to families or even larger groups. If you can manage to go during the off-season like we did and get some favourable weather your way - I can't think of a better getaway.

This is a lovely separate cottage at the back of a house. Hosts very welcoming but then not intrusive. Everything you need for a short stay. Very close to town.

Well located near the high street of Waihi. Rooms were very clean and had everything needed for a short stay - fridge, AC, toiletries etc. Easy on site parking and SKY TV (including Sports) standard with the room. Keeping in mind this motel is located on state highway there can be some road noise, however with the AC on it was hardly noticeable. We had a very comfy stay.
Good location, parking right outside studio apartment (great when it was raining) Clean, comfortable and a quiet location. Loved the hens greeting in the morning not to mention the darling cat who came to say hello .
