During my stay at Crow's Nest Accommodation and Tavern, I didn't visit the tavern itself, which is known as the only tavern in town surrounded by a residential area. The Crow Tavern boasts a full restaurant, public bar, lounge bar, bottle store, smoking area, gaming room, and garden bar. It’s a lively place where, as the owner put it: “business transactions happen, jokes are shared, and celebrations are held”.
The tavern, steeped in history, was renamed to Crow Tavern in 1974 by Terry McCashin, who transformed the former hotel into a tavern. Although I only passed through it, I could see that it was decorated in celebration of its rich heritage.
As for the accommodation, it was excellent—clean, very well-equipped, and remarkably attentive to detail. Unlike many higher-priced options that offer a single multipurpose liquid soap in the bathroom, here we were provided with four, per person, neatly lined, black and gold elegant travel-sized packages for different stages of personal care. This kind of meticulous attention to detail suggests that the owner is a keen follower of the House of Habsburg school of hospitality.
In conclusion, all joking aside, it was a wonderful place to stay, and I highly recommend it.

Lovely studio apartment with a rural outlook about a 10 minute drive out of Picton. Very spacious and comfortable. Hosts were nearby and very helpful.

Had a great stay at Koru Havenz. They very kindly upgraded us to a beautiful apartment room with a view and left some muffins for us. Sadly we were only there for a very short stay.
Loved everything from the moment we stepped inside this beautiful Penthouse apartment. Beautiful apartment and beautiful view looking straight out on to the water front. Located within walking distance to great restaurants and shops.
Bonus was the secure and covered parking space.
Within an hour, my partner and I contacted the owners, asking if we could stay an extra night. We didn't want to leave.

The apartment is generously sized and very comfortable. It has everything you need to be self catering if you want to be but the bar menu next door has lots of options at reasonable prices. Despite the cold outside, the apartment was really nice and warm even without extra heating on. It was nice to have access to a washing machine as well.
George is incredibly friendly and welcoming and we appreciated the free welcome drink and getting to meet some of his locals in the pub next door.
Fantastic apartment. It’s quiet, convenient and really well equiped. Very spacious (way more room than I actually needed) with a great view and outdoor space. Extremely comfortable bed. It was lovely to have a full kitchen and washing machine and I really enjoyed my short stay.
