It was the perfect place to recover from our 2nd breakfast tour at Hobbiton. We didn't even explore Matamata as we had a couch, tea and Netflix. This place is so cosy & our hosts helped us out with getting access to streaming (none of ours were available in NZ).
Best bed that we slept in across our 2.5 weeks of travel. It may be a small place, but the photos don't do it justice.

It’s a cute little place that’s super close to everything, including Hobbiton. The bed was comfy, and the TV was big. Plus, you can park right outside your door.
The best part about the main bedroom is that it doesn't have any windows, so it's really dark and quiet in the morning. It's perfect for a good night's sleep!
Overall, it was a clean and comfortable stay. I’d definitely recommend it if you're planning a trip to Matamata.

The guest wing was incredibly clean, tidy and modern for the price. Couldn't recommend it enough.

We arrived late and the heatpump was warming our apartment, We thought wow, can't get much better, But waiit there was more.

Everything was just spot on, beautiful like new apartment,super clean and a very warm gesture to find some beverages left for us in the fridge.personal touch which was very welcoming.breakfast was great..the place felt like home.
There's nothing negative I could say.. absolutely beautiful. The amazing home made jam! Apart from the full amenities apartment, incredible location and immaculate presentation, it was the attention given to providing just what u need after a long drive.. good cup of coffee, or a brew & lite snack! My favorite location by far!
