The room is incredibly spacious, clean, and well-designed. The interior is true to the pictures, it is incredibly warm and homely, and the amenities are great. I especially loved the small kitchenette space, as well as the small breakfast offered (which comes with different fruits each day!). Staying here was an incredible and unique experience that cannot be compared to the run-of-the-mill commercial/ business hotel. I would highly recommend it!

Emi greeted us on arrival and explained everything we need to know and answered our questions and invited us to a traditional Ikebana exhibition close by. Emi also assisted us to forward our luggage and arranged for its pick up on a holiday weekend. The traditional bedroom was a treat. Koi Koi is central to the train station, ferry port, Takamatsu Castle, Museum, shopping district and resturants. We walked to Ritsurin Garden and to the ferry port for a day trip to Megijima Island. We caught a ferry to Naoshima Island then Uno before catching a train to Okayama and on the Himeji the day we left.
