Great place to stay near Wicklow. Very easy to communicate with Alan. He gave us some useful links for places to visit. Secure locked gate, washing machine, freezer in the fridge, welcome pack and functional kitchen. A comfortable 2 night stay.

The welcome was delightful and the breakfast was awesome (some items were already in fridge, fresh bread, fruit etc. brought in the morning), and my dietary restrictions were cheerfully accommodated.) There were also plenty of communal provisions - salt, pepper, spices, oil, cereals, different types of tea etc. - which I always really appreciate when I'm self-catering. Apparently many are left by previous travellers so thanks to them too! Everything worked. The covered private outside seating area was nice, and also convenient for drying things,, bike storage etc There were several places to buy dinner nearby, from an independent burger and pizza place (very good) to quite a fancy restaurant. Location is great for attractions including Glendalough and the Wicklow Way.

Scarr View is in the beautiful village of Roundwood, Wicklow and is very secure with electric gates. The owners where very friendly and helpful and meeting their lovely dog Coco was a bonus. I was very happy with the facilities and the views where amazing. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Comfortable, well-presented hut with a lovely view of the Wicklow hills. Made a great starting point for a tour through the hills. Cooking facilities seemed good, too, although didn’t give them a lot of use since I was only staying one night. Next time!

The host left lots of things for the stay such as eggs, bread etc. (It felt very thoughtful)
Very comfortable apartment with lots of space. Well equipped kitchen. Anne, the host, was very friendly and kind, providing lots of food for us to make breakfast. She also welcomed us with freshly made scones. Washing machine was a bonus. Very quiet area perfect for exploring the local area.
The property was private, clean, had everything you needed for a self catering stay. Host provided eggs, bread, scones, coffee and tea etc for breakfast. Good range of pots and pans to cook everything you need. Bed was comfy and shower was warm/clean! We were able to see the northern lights from the property door!
Clean apartment with good facilities. Although we booked without breakfast, there were eggs, milk, tea and scones in the fridge. Nice and uncomplicated hostess!
The apartment is spacious, private and very clean. The facilities are great and the host is very helpful and respectful of your privacy. Private parking right outside the apartment was very handy too.
We stayed in one of the self catering flats. It was perfect! Garden view, washing machine, cooked and kitchen. Also 2 TVs and Netflix. Ann provided us with heaps of breakfast goodies 😋. We could not have wanted anything else. Perfect for exploring Glendalough and Wicklow Mountains region 😀 The hosts Ann and John were there for any questions but left us to enjoy the property. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. It was perfect. Also only 2km drive from town with supermarket etc.
Very spacious, comfortable apartment with plentiful breakfast. Good to be able to use our time as we wished and be self catering. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Good homemade marmalade.
Very friendly spotless apartment stocked the fridge with everything we needed for breakfast and more very helpful letting us know where to go couldn't fault it having our own patio it was home from home
