There was everything we needed at this property and it was very quiet and private. Carmel the hostess was very welcoming and sent us a couple of emails before our stay which was very thoughtful.
As mentioned, on arrival, Bella the dog was the meet and greet.
The property is about a 20 minute walk to both Keel and Dooagh, which is the location of the restaurants and pubs. Both villages are small and pretty.

Jack and Fiona were very welcoming, and I honestly felt like it was a home away from home, for the two nights I stayed there. They gave me a beautiful welcome baskets full of goodies, and use of their laundry facilities. The unit was extremely clean and very comfortable. I left very so relaxed and refreshed.

The apartment was super clean and warm and private in a beautiful location on the island. Very remote but on Achill not at all isolated, especially as our host Gerry was very courteous and supportive and indicated that he would be available only if we needed him or had any questions. Each of the three bedrooms has an ensuite. Plenty of towels and even the basics like shower gels soap and kitchen cleaners and tea and coffee available, all of which you often have to purchase yourself in some places. The extensive tv channels and networks provided alternative entertainment for the very rainy evenings.

This cottage is in the most fantastic location with stunning views of the sea and easy access to the local town. Very clean light, plenty of room and with good facilities. We had a lovely stay and would definitely consider booking this cottage again if we come back to the area. A big thank you to the hosts.

Excellent location, worth it to walk up to the restaurant (I'm sure the pub is also fine) and small stands are nearby. If you want to climb Craogh Patrick this is your ideal spot. Since it was permanently cloudy halfway up we instead made some different climbs, hikes and roadtrip, all of which are nearby. The appartment was cosy, clean, furnished with all the basics and we were happily surprised to find coffee and tea. Selfservice checkin and checkout, so late arrivals were no problem.
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
Fiona provided an excellent breakfast each morning. Sean and Fiona helped us with bicycle rentals. They made us feel very welcome and gave us some great recommendations for sightseeing. The B&B was very clean and well-kept. Fiona and Sean were wonderful hosts!
Amazing place. The accomodation was spotlessly clean, very cocooning with as amazing view!!! It is the best location to visit Archill island ! We also really appreciated the weleome box and the provisions in the fridge! We had the opportunity to have a lovely welcome from Jack who also provided some history regarding the the village. It was lovely walking in to the fire lighting , it was very cosy , Carmel was an excellent host , great location , nice touches left in the apartment such as water , milk , butter and wine in the fridge
