The location was perfect for a trip to Knossos, close to downtown Heraklion and the highway for trips to nearby beaches. The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Our host Eftichia was absolutely lovely and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We already can’t wait to come back!

The rooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained. All facilities work and are as described, the AC held of the heat very well. On arrival I was greeted by the host with fresh fruits, nuts and Greek specialties. The host was very kind and offered further assistance throughout the stay, being very approachable and always responding to messages quickly. The Rooms are located a bit away from Heraklion City Center, however they're on a street parallel to a large mainstreet. Authentic local restaurants, super markets and any other amenities can be reached within 5-10minutes on foot at most. Bus stations to travel into the city center are also close. The host kindly suggested some restaurants which all turned out to offer great food at fair prices. The host further went above and beyond to help me with a personal request. Overall a very enjoyable stay and I can recommend the Gardenia rooms to anyone looking for a relaxed vacation!
