The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped. There's a washing machine and great bathroom and kitchen. There is air conditioning in the bedroom. We couldn't get the tv working and some basic instructions or a welcome/information booklet would have been useful. The key issue is the location. It's up high via a very steep, narrow road that is rough and unmade in places and frankly terrifying to drive on. Thank God we did not meet any other cars.....There is no restaurant or 24 hour reception on site (as the advertising states). In fact, there is a family run taverna on the beach which presumably is the restaurant and 24 hour reception. So to get anywhere, including to eat, drink, swim etc, requires travelling some distance up or down a scary road that is like a glorified goat track only the width of a car. There is no mini mart in Kato Tarkos, so if you were wanting to stay put in the apartment (once you'd made it up the scary road) you'll need to stock up on everything prior.
I feel that the advertising needs to be clearer/more transparent regarding the apartment's location. Other than that, the apartment itself is good

A genuine country cottage in a very isolated village lost in the mountains. Nicely renovated and well furnished in a traditional style. Very comfortable, with a nice kitchen where we prepared our own meals, and ate on the patio in the shade of the lemon tree. A nice touch was the olive oil and jug of raki on arrival.

The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped with everything we needed including a washing machine. The view of the sea from the terrace was beautiful and there were sun loungers as well as chairs for us to use. The area was very quiet with no passing cars and we were able to park right outside our apartment.
Absolutely stunning location. Great apartment. Right opposite gorgeous beach. Worth having the apartment over the ordinary room. For the extra space. Amazing evening meal. Fabulous breakfast. Would stay again anytime. Don't miss this place it's our favourite stop on the island.
What a beautiful place! We we wish we could have stayed longer. The apartment is up on the hill with a beautiful view out to sea and just a short walk down the hill to the front where there's some nice restaurants. The apartment was very clean and had everything you need to cook proper meals. WiFi was good. Marianna was really lovely and met us to show us the apartment and gave us some olive oil and biscuits when we arrived. We definitely want to come back.
Lovely location & very pretty studio apartment with a lovely outdoor space. The host also left us coffee, tea, water, juice etc which felt very welcoming. She brought us cake after the storm.
