Room was very clean and tidy, overlooking the entrance garden with a small balcony ovelooking field behind. Wi-Fi good, air con kept the room comfortrable for sleeping during hot nights. Bakery opposite was great for coffee and drinks - open all hours and so friendly with awesome selection of cakes and baguettes etc. There was a minimarket and tavern nearby too, didn't use because I was out most of the day. Bus stops (I didn't have a car) very close made access to Heraklion easy for local bus to Knossos and excursion bus picked up at nearby Karteros Hotel for longer trip to Spinaloga. Ideal for a 'quieter' holiday away from the crowds but with good access to all the

Smart looking apartment which was well designed, spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. Kitchen area is ideal for making drinks and light meals but not really for cooking - this was fine for us. Comfortable bed, decent sized bathroom, good shower. Some traffic noise but overall quiet. Felt very safe and secure. Host gave us some useful tourist information.
