Sofia took the time to show me the room and gave me a map of the island & recommendations on where there go & the busschedule. The property was very roomy, spotless, beautifully presented and most importantly very well thought out. So much to love! The views, the beautiful decor, the amazing hosts. Antreas, generously spent time advising us where to go and what to see, there was a beautiful bottle of the local liquor waiting for us in our room, such a nice gesture. Katapola’s best location and beautiful design with modern equipment next to stone walls. Very comfortable bed and large fridge in the room. Literally 5m from the beach and a few minutes from supermarket, bars and restaurants. Lovely welcome… Thomas has plenty of choice of vehicles for rent just outside the harbor alley which is a must as Amorgos is a long island.

Great location, central but quiet, comfortable bed, there is a new bathroom and a little kitchen, a nice mountain and town view from the balcony, a beautiful garden at the entrance. The welcome was warm, Spyros waited for me at the port and gave me useful information. The room service made a good job coming every day to clean during my stay. The port is literally 1 minute walk from the door, and the bus stop 5 minutes away. Shops, cafés, tavernas just a couple of minutes away. There is a nice little beach nearby and a path along the sea.

Excellent location, 2 minutes walk to the bus station/grocery shop/bakery. Quiet located with beautiful views of the port from the balcony. Stavros welcomed us with raki -local drink and local sweets, so kind! The studio has everything you need to prepare breakfast or a quick lunch as well. Daily cleaning as well. The property is situated half way between Chora and the port Katapola, both destinations reachable within a few minutes by car. The view from our apartments was sensational, the breakfast was delicious, all dishes offered were homemade or local products. Andreas, the host was helpful and always available when needed. What we liked in particular about the arrangement Amorgos/Castello, was the relatively low number of tourists on the island, as compared to other islands during this period of the year.
We had a spacious studio for three with a huge terrace. Everything as advertised. Good quiet location behind the main street of the harbor village. The hosts also arranged a rental car flexibly and at a reasonable price. They seem to run also a cafe (their English was not fluent, but sufficient for everything to be handled fluently) in harbor where we could leave our bags on departure day.
The top floor flat, where we ended up staying, was really lovely, with fantastic views. Antonis was very helpful with advice about places to visit. But (see below) the studios, or at least some of them, are overpriced.
The property had a great balcony with a wonderful view of Katapola bay and port, facing the sunsets. The room is spacious and very good value for a studio apartment.
