The place is outstanding - the garden is so beautiful and Yannis tidies up any fallen leaves each morning. It's very quiet, you can enjoy a glass of beer in the evening and admire the flowers. Location is 3 mins walk to the beach and the promenade with some great restaurants. The place itself is very well equipped - from aircons, to appliances in the kitchen. You can see lots of hand-made ornaments that really add character to the place. Very clean and tidy. We stayed there 3 weeks - 2 weeks to work, 1 week holiday. We've been very worried if the quality of the internet will be sufficient for zoom calls and so on. What the owners did is that they have separate lines for each property (which likely costs them a lot of money!) but the internet is reliable and we had no issues with the remote work. So if somebody wants to work from the there and is worried about the internet - don't be you will be fine! Yannis, dear friend, you made our stay truly memorable - stopping by to chat to us every morning, bringing us fresh oranges/lemons from the garden, fresh bread to our door from Kalyves. We sincerely thank you and we really appreciate it.

Great location, surrounded by lots of restaurants, markets and bakeries. Very easy check in and excellent communication with the host, even with our last-minute arrival. We loved everything about it!

You can also rent a car, a bike or a motorcycle from Almyrida. By car, Rethymno is 1h 10’ away, Chania 45 mins and Heraklion is 1h 50’ min away (these are max values at the end of july). At the beach, they have paddle boards, kayaks, etc. for renting by the hour or more.

Beautifully designed apartment, both modern, spacious and private. The garden and pool area is also lovely. Location is brilliant, close to the beach and restaurants. Supermarkets nearby provide all amenities and lovely local bakery was also a highlight. The owner and operations manager were both extremely friendly and helpful, offering great ideas for things to do in this beautiful area. Can’t wait to come back next year!
