It was our first stay on Crete and it was a success. There were 5 of us and enough place for everyone. The host family made our holiday as great as it could be. The appartement is on the ground floor of the private house with the separate entrance and the yard. Everything as promised and even more. It is clean, good equipped appartement with everything you need. Very good beds that was very important for me. Air Condition good, good window blinds. Furniture items, ironing all you need. Pretty design. We stayed for 2 weeks and there was organized cleaning and change of bedding and towels. Everything is new and of good quality. The host family treated us like friends, we’ ve got wine, rakia, olive oil, fruits, vegetables from their garden as a present. My son had a birthday and he has got a present from the hosts. The location is excellent. In 10 min or less there are 2 big supermarkets Lidl and Synka, both with a variety of fresh products. I did not cooked a lot, just salads and fried zucchini that was also a present, if you are going to cook you will have all you need. The bakery is in 3 min on the main road also a bus stop there. In 15-20 min you will be in the centre of Chania. The beaches are max in 10 min walking. We used Yannies beach mostly, good umbrellas and beds are proposed there. The sea water is clean and warm and the sand is yellow. It’s ideal place for swimming. There is a bar on the beach. Several restaurants are also nearby. Advise: to fly to Chania airport as it is in 30 min. As Heraklion in 2.5 hours by car. I would Highly recommend this property for your ideal holiday

The location was perfect near beaches. The host was a super host with immaculate accomodation with everything a guest could want! The interior decorator was excellent! I loved the apartment & would enjoy returning to stay there as well!! A very high end accomodation!!

We liked everything. A perfect location, close to the beach, restaurants, shops and bus stop. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There is nothing we'd change. Great value for money

Anna,minos,eleni,the chefs,breakfast crew,the cleaning ladies,bruna and Charlie the babies,food was superb,would recommend for anybody to come here. They cater for all. Michael and Julia were very kind, we felt like part of the family and they helped us wherever they could. The property was right in front of a small supermarket, a few steps from the Park and within five minutes walk of three beaches. The apartment was very clean and within our four weeks stay we did not have a single mosquito. Julia regularly asked us, if we needed anything and her cooking was delicious. It was a beautiful and relaxing stay.

Very clean and comfortable rooms in a hotel that is 3 minutes from 2 beautiful beaches and 5 minutes from the 3rd beach. The staff is very pleasant and ready to help, they also gave us very useful advices on their own initiative. The hotel also offers things for the beach such as towels, umbrellas, as well as various props such as tennis rackets, balls and so on. You can also buy tickets for public transport at the reception.

I would start by saying: Amazing! First thing you will notice is the great interaction with the owner(Mr Andreas). He manages the locations(Akti Hotel, Taverna Andreas wich is across the street along with a drinks/souvenir shop ). He makes you feel welcomed and always there nearby to help. Now getting back to our Akti room. The place isnt brand new but well maintenaid and very clean. We had a twin room quite large with table and chairs as well as working kitchenette and frigde. Air condition in good condition(recomend to keep it at 25 degrees if you dont want to freeze at night). The quite sparkling clean bathroom was llitle bit small but far away from being an inconvenince. There was also a large balcony with table/chairs were you can have a drink before you go to bed. Well if you reachead this far with reading there is more :) . Breakfast included at Taverna Andreas , where Manolis never rests. We had each morning fresh orange juice , coffees, english food plate, fruits with greek yougurt and more. Ok , now the cherry on the top , there's a beach at 2 minutes walking distance, rental car and Lidl market. And yeah, i could not find any other place with all these at a reasonable price.
